Your Job Purpose

Working with the LotusWorks team you will be involved in the design, specify, manufacture, test and document of production equipment, changes and improvements

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work on project teams to develop clear specifications, evaluate feasibility of concepts, and provides formal estimates for mechanical designs.
  • Creates mechanical designs and detail drawings utilising CAD modelling software, department standards, development tools and procedures. Design will include material and component selection, pneumatic and hydraulic system design and specification.
  • Uses applicable EN standards and directives to ensure that equipment is CE compliant
  • Mechanical design / detail drawings 3D + 2D using Solidworks / AutoCAD.
  • Produce project plans and reports using MS office software.
  • Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate status and results.
  • Ensure documentation/drawing standards for equipment meet the highest requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of working experience in Solid Works with a background in a mechanical, electrical or equipment design.
  • Literacy in computer operating systems and applications such as MS Office Suite Products (e.g. Windows, Word, Excel).
  • Good documentation experience
  • An ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge or qualification in Solid Works and AutoCAD 3D packages.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
