Transport Administration Supervisor


Our client, a successful freight and logistics company, is seeking an administration supervisor with an interest and knowledge in the transport industry, for their office in Galway. Duties & Responsibilities: Supervision of transport department. General administration duties. Organise and schedule drivers. Management and supervision of the route planning, collections and general transport. Solving supplier and costing problems. Adhoc jobs requested by the department manager. Working closely with other departments to rectify issues. Person Specification: Previous supervisory experience is required. Knowledge of transport industry is essential. Recent qualification in transport/logistics discipline is desirable. Previous experience working within a transport company would be an advantage. Strong PC Skills. Knowledge in excel & Microsoft Office package. Excellent communication and organisation skills. Able to manage and prioritise daily workload. Deadline focused.
