Store Manager - Retail/Charity


Cpl are seeking an experienced Store Manager for a leading charity organisation based in Galway city. This is a full time permanent position, the ideal candidate will have previous retail management experience and experience in charity organisations or voluntary organisations. Duties: Responsible for training and coaching staff on effective retail practices. Ensure adequate staffing levels, Rostering staff on a weekly basis, Organising cover for annual leave/Sick Leave. The ideal candidate will be creative in terms of window displays and ensure that window displays are clean and changed on a regular basis. Maintaining stock levels and ensuring an appropriate level of stock at all times. Ensure that cash handling procedures are adhered to and end of day cash counts are carried out correctly. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential – Fashion Retail. Proven track record managing staff and motivating others. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and polite manner. Good time management skills. Analytical thinker with good decision-making skills. Flexible to ensure that all sick days, holiday days etc are covered. Excellent communications skills and phone manner. Excellent planning and organisation skills. Self-motivated and results driven.
