Senior Business Development Manager
Our client is a specialist Distribution Company based in Limerick and looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience selling industrial supplies and have a proven track record of developing business in this sector. The territory being covered will be the west coast area. Candidates must have experience working with a diverse range of clients and products ideally within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, electronics, chemical and food industry sectors. This is an exciting role for a dynamic and target driven individual. Responsibilities include: Actively seeking out new business opportunities. Servicing existing client accounts. Pitching the benefits to decision makers, negotiating deals and closing sales. Reporting weekly activities and sales as required. Relevant administrative tasks as needed. Attending client meetings and trade shows. Delivery of presentations. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Forecasting and tracking of key metrics. Contribute to the development of new product lines. The ideal candidate will have/be: Tenacious business development professional with strong relationship building skills. Flexible, target driven, personable, commercially astute, detail orientated, and ambitious. Track record of meeting / exceeding targets. History of new business development and forging mutually rewarding relationships. You are confident and service oriented, with excellent relationship building, listening, pitching, detail focused, objection addressing, negotiating and closing communication skills.
