Marketing Assistant


Responsibilities include: Communicates with internal and external customers to gather information. Adjusts all products and other copy to meet the needs of the distributors and management. Reads and analyses technical information for each new product and existing products, for presentation in a variety of formats, such as newsletter and website. Writes product information in various formats, including news copy format, human interest magazine style, corporate newsletter, technical product writing. Writes other types of documents such as the Compensation Plan, email communications from management to distributors. Proofreads and edits as necessary. Considers copyright laws. Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance to senior management team. Assist managing social media channels ensuring appropriate content is published across all platforms including Facebook, etc. Manage website content and enhancements to the websites including SEO activity to improve the user experience and to increase traffic to the site. Co-ordinate e-mail marketing activity including planning, content generation and sending of campaigns. Liaise with external agencies to ensure quality and cost-effective promotional material. Completion of market research to identify industry trends. Analyse and report on market activity, customers, competitors and product lines. Assist with consumer trade shows and customer interaction marketing plans in various markets to promote products. Event planning and management. Requirements: BA in Marketing/Digital Marketing or similar. 1-2 years experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and people skills. Familiarity with social media and web analytic tools.
