Store Manager required for a busy forecourt in Galway City. The successful candidate will be in charge of ensuring the smooth operation of a busy forecourt store in Galway city. The candidate will be very hands on in the daily operations of the business. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working in a managerial position within the retail sector. Excellent working knowledge of HACCP desirable. Must be able to lead a team and have strong managerial skills. Must have a "can do" attitude and a hands on approach. Must have a high level of customer service skills. Attention to detail is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required. Must be passionate about the retail sector. Must be flexible regarding working hours, ie, ability to work weekends if required. Ability to motivate a team. The Role: To ensure the smooth daily operation of the store. Recruit, train and motivate staff. To deal with any staffing issues that arise with the support of senior management. Staff Rosters. Opening the store, the successful candidate will be the main key holder. Stock control - Ordering stock, stock checks, etc. Delegating tasks to staff members.
