Algorithm Software Engineer(Maternity leave contract. Exciting opportunity with Global Leader in advanced driver-assistance and automated parking systems. As a Software Engineer you will work with a talented team of engineer and architects to design and develop algorithms to fuse information from diverse computer algorithms and produce reliable accurate output. These objects enable end user functions like automated parking, adaptive cruise control and emergency braking, which will be integral parts of the autonomous vehicles of the future. What you will be working on. • Research and understand advanced concepts in vision fusion and provide input to the module requirements. • Develop PC-based algorithms to meeting requirements in C/++ with a view to implementation on embedded platforms. • Contribute to routine software design reviews, peer code reviews, problem resolution and software test activities. • Perform detailed tests, performance analysis and benchmarking on algorithms. • Ensure all development complies with the company software development quality processes. • Work innovatively and creatively within the group with a particular focus on protecting innovation and IP through the patent process. Desirable skills: • Basic Computer Vision or Machine Learning knowledge. • Knowledge of Data Fusion techniques. • C++ Programming skills. • Familiarity with software development tools like Git. • Basic knowledge of embedded systems.
