Transport Manager :Galway City. The Transport Manager will provide and manage a safe, efficient, reliable and cost effective equipment delivery and collection service for the Company and our customers : Contact Daniella 086 7750646. T ransport Mger Responsibilities: Be a key driver in serious about safety by leading from the front. Lead, coach and motivate a team of Drivers, Transport Coordinators and Warehouse colleagues to provide an efficient internal and external customer service. Plan, organise and manage activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles to meet business and customer requirements. Promote and ensure understanding of and compliance with transport policies, procedures and legislation (eg Tachograph, towing, ADR regulations. Ensure the vehicle fleet is properly maintained, efficiently utilised and ensure necessary documentation and records are kept. Ensure that all relevant procedures and forms are completed in accordance with the Transport/O licence Audit process. Manage and resolve queries and complaints efficiently and courteously. Develop culture of honesty and care to serve our customers to the highest level. Adhering to all the company's safety guidelines including wearing of all personal protective equipment and company overalls. Experience/Skills Required: Transport Manager. Strong People Management skill set. Transport/Logistics organisation experience essential. Experience - Ability to lead, motivate and manage existing team.
