Buyer/Planner to join our Galway basec client: on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. Responsible for the execution of the company's production & inventory control process, direct material procurement and associated supplier management activities. Execute Production Planning Routines. Monthly S&OP process. Complete monthly inventory management routines. Ensure all master data items are correct. Ensure all supplier pricing is correct. Produce monthly vendor performance score cards. Support MPS, Strategic Sourcing, and new product development activities as required. Working to continuously improve Planning, Buying, and related processes. Skills and Requirements. You should have APICS CPIM and/or a 3rd level business or engineering qualification to degree level. 2 years' experience in a related operations function in a Medical, Pharma or High-Tech Electronic Mfg Industry. Experienced in ERP / MRP Planning & Purchasing systems and practice. Proactive Buyer Planner. Analytical, problem solver. Excellent communicator. Passionate, fearless and friendly.
