Our client, an innovative Medical Devices organisation who are based in Galway city where they hold their Quality and R&D headquarters are seeking a Contractor Senior Quality Validation Engineer to join their team for a duration of 6 months due to ongoing projects. The Role: Our client is currently seeking a Contractor Senior Quality Validation Engineer to join a collaborative team at their facility in Galway. You will report to the Quality Assurance Director and you will be a key member of the Quality team being involved in support of the QMS and oversight of subcontractors assuring product quality meets regulatory requirements. Responsibilities. Provide strong quality support to, and interact with, the Finished Device Manufacturing Subcontractor ensuring product quality requirements are achieved. Take ownership for activities associated with Supplier Management. This includes supplier selection, approval, monitoring and reporting. Ensuring that Product manufacture and release activities are performed in a manner that is compatible with regulatory requirements & business needs. Driving SCAR, CAPA and NCR activities to closure, thoroughly and in a timely manner. Processing change requests ensuring product impact is assessed and supporting Risk Management activities as required. Be a key team member in Validation activities. The Person: The successful Quality Engineer should possess: Upwards of 7 years' experience in a medical device manufacturing environment, with a number of years in an Operations QA role. Experience in management of Complaints, CAPA, Audit Systems, Risk Management and Supplier Management is desirable. Ability to be the voice of Quality when dealing cross functionally, and will take the lead on discussions / meetings to ensure an appropriate outcome.
