Ontact: anne marie fox. email: annemarie@hero.ie. telephone: 087 2197421. software project lead. our client, an automotivecompany in galway are currently looking to recruit a software project lead for their site. key deliverables: strong communicator. to be an effective sw pl, concise communications is key within the sw team itself and also reporting up to the r&d ptm and also across the other function owners delivering within the project. good planning. updated project planning documents including resource forecasting. in charge of the robust project execution in line with the project’s targets. ensures sw development processes are followed. reports progress and resources to sw dept. and project weekly. contributing to process development as required. customer facing. represent the sw team at the customer level so will need to have customer experience previously. overall responsibility of the successful management of the sw project and reporting up into the r&d ptm. supports r&d pm for customer interface in sw issues. detailed scheduling and budgeting. contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipment, investments. establish detail break down of the activities to meet the milestones and a have a good understanding of the required resources needed to deliver project tasks. deliver sw projects on time, within scope and on budget. management of the contributors. daily management of sw project. assign tasks and work packages to sw team members. aligns external deliveries to manageable integration tasks. education. minimum degree in engineering preferably in the fields of electronics / computer science. master of science in computer sciences or software engineering or equivalent domain preferable. professional experience. min 5 years’ experience preferably in automotive embedded software. min 5 years of relevant sw project management, methodologies and software experience. strong leadership skills / potential. strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, enforcement assets and focus on results. fluent knowledge of english. ability to manage projects across multiple time zones / cross-cultural cooperation. automotive spice experience is an advantage. for further information on this software project lead role in galway please contact anne marie fox on 087 2197421 / annemarie@hero.ie. check out all our open jobs on our hero recruitment website – www.hero.ie. please note: hero recruitment will not forward your details to any company without your prior approval. this job originally appeared on recruitireland.com.
