Computer Vision Software Project Lead. Co. Galway. Position Overview: Your role will include task planning for a diverse range of computer vision and software tasks such as, algorithm research, prototyping, development, test and integration. You will be responsible for the development of state of the art algorithms providing unprecedented scene understanding, enabling driver assistance functions and automated driving while ensuring the development team are adhering to automotive development guidelines. Responsibilities. Develop software project plans for development and documentation activities. Establish milestones, anticipate issues, and monitor adherence to project scope. Assume day-to- day responsibility for ensuring that the project is completed on time. Work closely with the management team to properly allocate tasks. Work with project managers to agree feature development plan. Ensure detailed task planning and risk mitigation is provided per software sprint. Work with the project manager and team to prioritise tasks. Maintain client relations, communication and status reporting. Schedule peer reviews with wider team as required. Required Skills/Experience. Degree qualified in related field with 2+ years of software project lead experience. Desirables. Knowledge of ISO 26262. Understanding of computer vision algorithms and ADAS. Good level of C/++ programming skills. Previous experience working in an automotive development environment. Familiarity with quality assurance practice. Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and versioning tools such as SVN/ GIT. Experience with Agile project development.
