A Cost Accountant is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Galway based multinational client. A permanent opportunity with a major US multinational. Excellent career prospects. THE ROLE: * Monthly & weekly account analysis & variance reporting of all inventory accounts. * Balance Sheet reconciliation's & review to strict deadlines and procedures. * Compliance with Corporate Accounting Policies & Procedures & IFRS. * Assist in development of rolling monthly forecasts. * Assisting team with cost control reports. * Cost and Scenario modelling. * Quarterly pricing review and update standards on a quarterly basis. * Financial aspects of Inventory Management. * Various Ad Hoc projects & reports. REQUIREMENTS: * 2-4 years' experience in a similar role. Multinational manufacturing experience essential. * Qualified or finalist CIMA or ACCA. * SAP experience or similar ERP system. * Experience in multinational, manufacturing environment. * Excellent motivational / interpersonal skills,and excellent customer management skills. * Knowledge of customer and business requirements in line with business needs.
