Purpose. This role will require you to manage theOperations Analytical lab. While this multinational company is an industry leader it is by no means standing still. They are currently working on the development of drug-eluting stents and a device to monitor blood flow in diabetic patients. This is an exciting opportunity for a person with lab management experience who wants to continue their professional development. This lab is the biggest onsite at this company with 50 members, for that reason you must have experience with at least 20 direct reports. You will be responsible for ensuring that Raw Materials, Finished Goods, non-routine and Stability testing is carried out in accordance with cGMP laboratories. You will provide support and guidance in the areas of cGMP, Compliance, Regulatory, Technical Investigation, test method optimization, test method validation and technical transfers in the laboratory. Requirements. HETAC Level 8 in relevant field with minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a similar role. Management of a minimum of 20 personnel required. Good technical capabilities, communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative. Strong leadership and influencing skills required. You must have experience in a pharmaceutical regulated analytical lab. Responsibilities. This lab mainly utilises HPLC and GC as methods of analysis. You must understand and comply with all the regulations governing the quality systems, ISO 9001/17025. Training, supervision and development of the team. Overseeing the analysis of finished product, in-process, R&D, validation samples and Stability Samples. Supervision of method validation and analytical technical transfers from donor sites. Final review and approval of laboratory results, protocols, reports SOPn++s etc. Conducting performance reviews of direct reports.
