Project Manager - County Galway. Position Overview; The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of software projects. The Project Manager will comply with software department processes and follow the priorities and schedules defined by the Senior PM. Key Responsibilities: Manage project team members and organisation. Manage Project scope, timing, risk & quality. Manage investments and development costs. Status Reporting. Estimation and planning of resource needs and development workload. Alignment with other projects in the same program. Support departmental leaders and process adherence. Stakeholder & Team Management. Daily management of project team. Ensuring stakeholders are co-ordinated to achieve project objectives. Aligns deliveries and manage integration tasks. Co-ordinate customer (internal/external) engagement to ensure inter-dependencies are managed. Project Execution. Drive full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout. Ensure robust project execution in line with the project’s targets. Deliver software projects on time, within scope and on budget. Ensures project processes and standards are followed. Contributing to process development as required. Weekly and Monthly status reporting. Planning, scheduling and budgeting. Contribute to the identification of needs in terms of resources, equipments and investments. Establish breakdown of activities to meet the milestones and a have a good understanding of the required resources needed to deliver project. Preparation, tracking and management of project budgets. Qualifications and Experience Sought: Minimum Degree in Computer science or a related area. Minimum 5 years' relevant Software Project management, methodologiesand softwareexperience. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility andfocus on results. Fluentknowledge of English. Ability tomanage projects across multiple timezones / cross-culturalco-operation.
