Cpl Healthcare in association with our client are currently seeking an experiencedSupervising Pharmacistfor a brand new and exciting opportunity in Casla West Galway. This exciting opportunity will be with a well established community pharmacy located in Casla which is a 30 minute drive from the city centre. This opportunity will be offered on a fulltime permanent contract and successful applicants are expected towork 40 hours per week. There will be no Sundays or late nights required. There will be an excellent remuneration package on offer to the right candidate. The successful applicant will be aself-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent people skills with a passion for building relationships within the Galway community. Job Responsibilities As the Supervising Pharmacist, you will be primarily responsible for the delivery of pharmacy services whilst ensuring that a professional and caring service is consistently provided to the local community while continuing to build up relationships within the community. Standard Job Duties Dispensing to, and advising patients. Overseeing the management of OTC stock control and merchandising. Execution of the dispensary business plan. Day to day management of the dispensary and store, for example verifying, sending claims, stock control, paperwork, opening and closing of the store etc. Management of dispensary communications. To partake in staff training events if and when applicable. Ensuring standards of exceptional Customer Service are consistently met by the team. Managing and motivating the team. Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control. Analysing sales figures and reporting to head office and senior management. Analysing and Interpreting trends to facilitate planning. Dealing with various staffing issues including performance reviews and feedback sessions, as well as training and development. Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail and pharmacy industries, understanding and implementing forthcoming group initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing. Initiating changes to improve the business alongside senior managers. Essential Criteria As the Supervising Pharmacist, you are required to have 3 years’ or more community pharmacy experience in a supervising pharmacist role. Key Requirements: Current registration with the PSI. Previous management experience will be an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
