What you need to know. You will work as a Supply Chain Supervisor for our client, a highly successful and ambitious medical device company in Galway . As a Supply Chain Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing solutions to complex vendors, problems and ensuring solutions are consistent with company objectives. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Lead data analysis for production planning and volume studies. Conduct process improvement efforts. Track materials to and from vendors and monitor performance. Resolves vendor related, project related and technical issues. Implement new or improved supply chain processes. Analyse information about supplier performance or procurement program success. Develop opportunities to improve or enhance vendors. Implement metrics to assess performance and apply improvements. Maintain reliability standards. What are we looking for? BSc Level 8 Degree, MSc preferred in Business/Supply Chain or related discipline. At least 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Six Sigma or related Engineering. Strong ERP system experience and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications and/or SAP. You must have strong communication and negotiating skills along with excellent organisation/time management skills. Must have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment while demonstrating initiative to lead in other projects. Desirable.
