Description

Site HR Director- County Galway. Description: • Responsible for the organisation and development of all employees to meet the needs of the company in line with Regulatory, Group, Business Group & Business Unit requirements. • Jointly responsible for the Health and Safety of all employees, contractors and visitors to the company. • Lead role for the Involvement of Personnel roadmap. • Responsible for the outputs of HR Function. Key Responsibilities; • Review and validate all Group HR policies in line with Irish regulatory and economic requirements. • Research and propose annual salary orientation for Ireland. • Ensure deployment and adherence to Group HR policies throughout the site. • Member of HR Operations Committee – participation /project work as requested. • Legally responsible for HR standards and legal compliance. • Responsible for the implementation and continued accreditation of "Top Employer Award" HR Business Partner: • To Site General Manager, Product Line and Technical Product Line Directors. • Supporting and implementing organisation changes. • Highlighting business risks to stakeholders and offering and implementing solutions. • Attending monthly Product Line Management meeting with updates on key metrics/initiatives and taking action as required. • Lead member of Employee Engagement Steering Committee. Health, Safety & Environment: • Co-manage the Health Safety & Environment Manager to ensure: • the required Health and Safety of all employees, contractors and visitors to the site is provided. • all Regulatory and Group Health and Safety requirements are deployed. • that an up to date Health and Safety policy is maintained and ensure this is implemented. • that all Health and Safety incidents are managed following a QRQC methodology. • that IS014001/OHSAS18001 accreditation is achieved and maintained. • Executive Management representative for HSE committee. Talent Management: • Manage talent acquisition of personnel in conjunction with the relevant Managers and Supervisors. • Ensure Talent Acquisition team obtain talent acquisition authorisations, develop and maintain job descriptions, advertise vacancies internally and externally, liaise with agencies, conduct interviews and all administration required for the talent acquisition process. • Support the management of re-allocation of duties between departments through re-organisation, redeployment or redundancy as appropriate. • In conjunction with L&D define and deliver appropriate induction & on-boarding programme for all new employees. • Support process improvement activities to improve manpower efficiency and effectiveness. • Support and advice Managers and Supervisors in grievance and disciplinary situations. • Monitor attendance of all employees and support line management to manage any required improvement actions (in line with relevant legislation – Working Time Act. • Responsible to ensure all talent processes are deployed on time and are effectively used within the organisation(Appraisals, Experts, Succession Planning, Salary Review. Learning and Development: • Support Business Unit Managers in the definition of the key departmental skills, the development of departmental training plans, and the development of Individual Development Plans for key employees. • Ensure that appropriate training solutions are sourced to fulfil training plan requirements. • Support and deploy Group, Network, Site training priorities. • In conjunction with Talent Management define and deliver appropriate induction & on-boarding programme for all new employees. • Responsible for promoting and rolling out group initiatives – e.g. Mentoring, Coaching etc. • Responsible for developing in-house trainings where possible to ensure cost effectiveness. • Responsible for supporting pre-experts/experts in designing training modules. • Responsible for ensuring Compliance Programs are rolled out. Total Reward: • Responsible for ensuring a comprehensive benefits portfolio in line with the market is available for employees. • Responsible for ensuring said benefits portfolio is competitive and employees are aware of their benefits through Total Reward Statements or other initiatives. • Management of expatriate community, both incoming and outgoing in line with International Mobility Standards and Shared Service Centre. • Responsible for coaching managers and HR personnel on benefits package and marketing the package holistically. • Responsible for undertaking salary & benefits benchmarking in conjunction with Group /Business Group. • Responsible for advising on C4/C5 packages. • Responsible for rolling out benefit changes/initiatives with effective communication e.g. Share Programs. • Responsible for ensuring benefits administered efficiently. Employee Administration & Payroll: • Oversee and validate the monthly payroll. • Oversee and validate the weekly payroll. • Responsible for ensuring Payroll Roadmaps are followed and all Internal Control standards are consistently applied. • Responsible for ensuring all Irish Legislative requirements are adhered to regarding payroll (BIK, PRSI, P30 Submission etc. • Ensure the maintenance of accurate employee files and ensure Peoplesoft database is maintained to meet Corporate and legislative requirements. • Ensure all litigation/personal injury claims are managed appropriately with the key stakeholders. • Ensure all monthly reporting including accidents, headcount, absenteeism, recruitment status, training, and organisation charts etc. is provided to key stakeholders on time and with 100% accuracy. • Ensuring administrative excellence of HR department. • Responsible for Workforce management reporting. • Banking authorization for payments. Industrial Relations: • Develop Well Being at Work. • Promote ethics particularly by building a safe place of work and ensuring an environment exists which is free from bullying & harassment. • Contribute to Corporate Social Responsibility deployment. • Re-organization/Rationalisation of workforce as required. • Contribute to competitiveness of site. • Responsible for workforce management reporting. • Negotiating with Employee Representatives. • Prevention of employment conflicts. • Resolving strikes and stoppages – if applicable. • Promoting a good social climate. Cost: • Responsible for ensuring all HR budgets are developed taking into account the Business Requirements from the Executive Team (e.g. Involvement of Personnel, Learning & Development, Total Reward, Talent Acquisition etc.). • Responsible for annual salary & benefit planning in line with local market and Group requirements. • Responsible to ensure cost effectiveness of all HR suppliers. Delivery: • Provision of specialist people management advice in line with personnel policies and Regulatory standards. • Responsible for the deployment and organisation of employees to meet the needs of the business whilst respecting Regulatory and Group requirements and headcount budget. Qualifications and Essential Experience sought: • Degree in Human Resources. Desirable: • MBA or Master’s in Organisational Development/Human Resources. Essential Experience: • At least 7 years' HR Management experience in fast-paced multinational environment at a senior level. • Chartered CIPD Membership. • Restructuring & Change Management experience. • In-depth expertise in Irish law, policies, procedures and HR. • Proven experience in Change Management and improving social climate.
