A key client in Galway is building a new team in it`s Analytical Support section to focus on the introduction of new products to its expanding site. A number of positions are available for committed and ambitious scientists to take senior roles on the team. I also require a manager level candidate to lead the team. To qualify you`ll need a minimum of a Degree in Chemistry or similar with at least 6 years of previous experience in a Pharma GMP environment. Strong knowledge of HPLC and method development and validation will also be required. Experience: Plan, coordinate and manage the testing activities. Development of staff. Assists in setting clear goals and evaluates performance. Plans and tracks progress of the work schedules for the assigned analytical team. Analytical capability/technology to support assigned products. Maintains analytical budget within agreed limits for monthly finance reviews. Performs and organizes analytical method development and validation. Supports formulation and process development studies. Supports method transfer to QC and other sites. Decision maker in selection of new APIs and materials. As a senior analyst in R&D, seek to continuously improve the way we work in R&D Analytical.
