Head Pastry Chef required for a 5* establishment in the West of Ireland. Excellent opportunity to lead the Pastry team in a 5* establishment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and a high level of customer satisfaction. The Role: Leading a small team of Pastry Chefs, ensuring they are motivated and creating dishes to the required standard. Creating impressive dessert dishes. Inputting ideas for the menu and working closely with the Head Chef. Staff training and rostering. Ensure HACCP standards are understood and maintained. Ensuring there is minimal wastage and GP's are being met. The Candidate: 4 years' experience in the Pastry section of a 4/5* hotel. Experience leading and motivating a team. Chef/Culinary Qualification. Genuine passion for producing high quality, well presented dishes. Detailed knowledge of HACCP.
