Rooms Division Manager required for a busy 4* hotel in the heart of Galway. The successful candidate would be an integral part of the senior management team and would be responsible for the Front Office, Accommodation and Leisure departments. They would work closely with the General Manager and Deputy General Manager to ensure the smooth running of the daily operation of the hotel, an exceptional level of customer service was delivered and GP's and targets were met. An excellent package will be offered to the successful candidate, consisting of both a generous base salary and bonus structure. The Role: Manage the smooth running of the reception, accommodation and leisure department. Be the main point of contact for reception. Greet guests and deliver a personalised service. Liaise with all departments to ensure all guest requests are met. Ensure department GP's and targets are met. Fire Marshall duties while on duty. Work closely with management team ensuring detailed Passovers are given and all issues are dealt with in a prompt and efficient fashion. Staff Management. Spot check bedrooms to ensure standards are being maintained. The Candidate: Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry. Knowledge of both accommodation and front office departments. Strong managerial and communication skills. Strong financial acumen with experience at managing cost control. Proven experience problem solving and using analysis. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask. Excellent customer service skills. Strong work ethic.
