Job title: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role is based within a TA team of 4 within the HR team. Job location: Galway. This is a contract role (12 months initially and will hopefully progress to a permanent role. About the employer. The ideal Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist candidate will have the following responsibilities: Responsible for the sourcing of high calibre applicants using effective sourcing tools (including social media) and working proactively with hiring managers across the business. Coordinating the recruitment and selection process. Attending interviews and providing guidance to hiring managers. Responsible for aligning TA processes and procedures (eg competency based interviewing procedures. Manage the internal applicant systems and generating reports. Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process up to offer stage. Achieve KPIs including productivity and time to hire. Develop a strong understanding of the business and individual job roles and match candidates accordingly. Internal stakeholder/hiring managerrelationship building. The successful Talent Acquisition Specialist will have the following skills and experience: 3rdlevel qualification (not essential. Senior internal recruiting experience is essential. Strong skills in research and sourcing techniques. Self-motivated and the ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment. Superior interpersonal and interviewing skills. Excellent coordination, problem solving, and team work skills. Excellent knowledge of social media and general web technologies for sourcing applicants. Ability to manage large scale recruitment projects with high volumes of candidates. Experienced in using a candidate tracking system (Taleo). Peoplesoft HRIS is also a distinct advantage.
