The Role. Managing the smooth operation of the restaurant. Recruiting, training and motivating staff. Working closely with management to ensure GP's and targets are met. Organising any bookings/functions effectively ensure all customer requirements are met where possible. Cash management. Staff rosters, managing holiday requests. Dealing with any complaints efficiently and effectively. Maintain and implement SOP's, creating new SOP's where required. The Candidate: Previous managerial/Supervisory experience in a formal restaurant. Ability to manage a team of 11 /12 approximately. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interest in both food and wine with extensive knowledge about both. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to lead the team by example. REF:INDCM.
