The National Shared Services Office (NSSO) is leading the transformation of HR, payroll and pension administration, and fi nancial management in the Irish Public Service. Over the next 3 years some of the finance functions, currently carried out within the 48 Public Service Bodies (PSBs), will move in waves to a Finance Shared Service (FSS). The FSS sites will be spread across three locations; Galway, Tullamore and Killarney. There are currently vacancies. for Finance Leads in the FSS Galway. The Finance Lead will be responsible for completion of general accounting, financial close, audit and governance, finance management and tax activities within the FSS.   The successful candidate(s) will have completed at least one year of a formal accounting qualification and be progressing towards full membership of a prescribed accountancy body supervised by the Irish Auditing and Accountancy Supervisory Authority (IAASA). They will have experience in leading and working within a results oriented team, excellent organisation and analytical skills, and a planned and systematic approach to work.
