Director of Sales Luxury 5* Hotel, Connaught Region. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Sales Director be involved with these well-known deluxe 5* hotels. This hotels operates in the upper echelon of luxury, comfort & service. About the role. " Create and implement the sales strategy, including domestic & international markets. " Drive sales across all market segments into the hotel. " Promote and market the destination and hotel facilitates. " Develop relationships with key clients and agents. " Work closely with the Director, GM, S&M Team and brand sales team. " Hold site visits and client entertainment as required. " Produce sales activity reports as required. What we are looking for. " Proven, successful experience as a Hotel Sales Director at 4*5* level is preferred. " Current experience within the Irish /UK market is essential. " A proven track record of successful business development and account management is essential. " A self-motivated, driven, results orientated and proactive attitude is required. " People management and leadership experience is required. " Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. " A full and clean driving licence and own car are preferred. " Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role in a luxury hotel/resort environment. " Exposure in the MICE & Corporates Market is essential.
