I have the privilege of assisting a highly respected, award winning manufacturing plant in the heart of Galway city. It is a family run company and a close family feel environment. Our client based in Galway is looking for a Qualified Electrician Maintenance Engineer to join their established maintenance team. You will have experience as a Maintenance Electrician gained in a high volume, automated manufacturing environment. This is a great company to work for, with over 180 staff, it still has a medium SME feel. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain manufacturing equipment and heavy machinery. Repair machine or equipment breakdowns in a timely manner. Work as part of a team to ensure suitable maintenance support is provided to all shifts and areas of the business. Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment to reduce machine downtime. Liaising closely with the various departments to ensure maintenance issues are addressed.
