This is an opportunity to join a global Pharmaceutical company as a QC Team Leader. In this position you would have up to 10 direct reports of QC Analysts across varying levels of experience. As QC Team Leader you would lead and develop this team of QC Analysts. The QC Team Leader is also responsible for the co-ordination of analytical, documentation and compliance activities for the QC Laboratory. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and lead a team of QC Analysts. • Schedule, Co-ordinate and Supervise all analytical activities. • Co-ordinate QC sampling routines with efficient production of relevant QC documentation. • Review and approve chromatographic and non-chromatographic data. • Support QA personnel in the close out of the QC batch release. • Co-ordinate and supervise laboratory investigations. • Lead the chromatography and wet chemistry training of QC analysts. • Manage Quality Control SOPs, change controls, deviations, CAPAs and lab investigations. • Ensure cGMP compliance is maintained at all times. • Support CI projects such as 6S and lean processes for the laboratory. Qualifications and Experience : • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science related discipline. • 5+ years’ of relevant industry experience. • Previous HPLC/GC/Peptide analysis experience in method validation/transfer is essential.
