Deep Learning/Computer Vision Team Leader. One of the technological leaders in the field of Computer Vision is seeking a Deep Learning expert with strong management experience, to focus a team on developing new DL algorithms for research into automated driving. Given the area, this will be a very heavily R&D focused role, ideally suiting someone with a mixture of strong academic and commercial backgrounds. You'll be a thought leader, with a "what next?" mindset, interested in identifying the next tech-driven commercial opportunity coming down the line, and working on it before anyone else! Primary Duties: Technical management of the team including people management, task tracking and reporting of activities. Lead the research and development of machine learning projects. Liaise with various stakeholders to agree resource requirements for projects. Representing the company at various R&D/Technology conferences. Experience: 5+ years hands on experience with Machine Learning/Deep Learning/Computer Vision or a strongly related field. Demonstrable management experience in a ML/DL/CV environment. Experience with OpenCV programming and a variety of Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Caffe. Experience with embedded devices.
