Test Software Lead – Galway. Test Software Lead role available with our client based in Galway. With extensive experience of development inNI LabVIEW and Test Stand, the Software Project Lead is responsible for the planning, execution and follow-up of a SW project. The Project Lead will comply with and develop department processes. The Software Lead will define the priorities and schedules in conjunction with theManagement team. Job Overview: To be an effective SW PL,concise communications is key within the SW team itself and also reporting up to the Test Manager and across the other Function Owners delivering within the project. Updated project planning documents including resource forecasting. In charge of the robust project execution in line with the project’s targets. Ensures SW development processes are followed in line with our clients Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC. Reports progress and resources to Test Manager and project on a weekly basis. Contributing to process development as required. Represent the SW team at the customer level. Overall responsibility of the successful management of the SW project and reporting up into the Test Manager. Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipment’s, investments. Establish detailed WBS of the activities to meet the milestones and have a good understanding of the required resources needed to deliver project tasks. Deliver SW projects on time, within scope and on budget. Daily management of SW project. Assign tasks and work packages to SW team members. Peer review software development in line with SDLC. Drive development of SDLC. Drive development of standard software architectures. Support development/training of new hires/engineers in line with SDLC. Candidate Overview: Minimum Degree in engineering preferably in the fields of electronics / computer science. Extensive development NI LabVIEW and TestStand (Minimum CLD required. Project management education, PMP certification desired. Minimum 5 Years Experience within Electronics Manufacturing Environment, preferably automotive. Min 5 years of relevant SW project management, methodologies and software development/validation experience. Extensive experience on alignment technology. Strong leadership skills. Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, enforcement assets and focus on results.
