Technical Product Owner/Manager (Machine Learning. As the Product Owner for the Deep Learning/Computer Vision side of the business, you will be expected to understand the capabilities and limitations of your assigned features. You will be required to work with the project team and internal/external customers to agree optimal solutions for the customer, in the area of autonomous driving. Examples include: pedestrian detection, lane detection, object detection and classification etc. This is a chance to work on a great blend of highly technical subject matter, while also demonstrating very strong business savvy. Responsibilities. Guide the development of computer vision algorithms to ensure they meet expectations. Engage internal/external customers to understand their requirements and ensure these are appropriately prioritised. As a technical expert act as a driver for improving the solution, liaising with architects & software leads. Work with algorithm project leaders to ensure customer issues and bugs are prioritised appropriately in advance of customer releases and avoid escalations. Lead customer workshops to assess feature performance, capture issues and engage the team to propose solutions. Requirements. Bachelors Degree in Software Eng., Computer Science or a strongly quantitative subject with programming involved, such as Physics. 2+ years relevant commercial experience. At least a rudimentary knowledge of Computer Vision and how it is applied to autonomous driving functions. Familiar with concepts around Deep Learning.
