Our client requires a strong Project Lead for their Test Software team, based in the West of Ireland. This will be a totally management focused role, with responsibilities surrounding project planning, budgeting and reporting, along with direct people-management of a software development team. Job Responsibilities. Updated project planning documents including resource forecasting. In charge of the robust project execution in line with the project’s targets. Reports progress and resources to Test Manager and project on a weekly basis. Contributing to process development as required. Detailed scheduling and budgeting. Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipments, investments. Deliver SW projects on time, within scope and on budget. Management of software engineers. Drive development of SDLC. Drive development of standard software architectures. Support development/training of new hires/engineers in line with SDLC. Requirements: Minimum Degree in engineering preferably in the fields of electronics / computer science. Extensive development with LabVIEW and TestStand (Minimum CLD certification required. Project management education, PMP certification desired. Minimum 5 Years Experience within Electronics Manufacturing Environment, preferably automotive. Minimum 5 years of software project management experience. Strong leadership skills. Demonstrable budget management/forecasting experience.
