Field Service Engineer. We are recruiting an Analytical Field Service Engineer for our Shimadzu Service Team and may be required to travel countrywide on occasion. Reporting to the Team Leader Shimadzu. Responsibilities: Commissioning and Installation of Shimadzu Equipment. Service and Validation. Carry out Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown Cover. Work as part of a Service Team. Requirements: A recognised course completed in electrical/electronic/mechanical engineering. Previous experience of Chromatography, Spectrophotometry, Atomic Absorption and TOC an advantage. Previous experience in a similar type of technical role. Experience of working within Quality systems such as ISO, INAB, etc. Experience of working within Regulatory systems such as FDA, EUP, UKP, HPRA etc. An individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. A good knowledge of related industry products and tools. Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to work on own initiative, with good organisational skills. Full clean driving licence is essential. Travel is a key element of the role and overnight stays are required. Salary & Benefits: The salary is 30-35K, negotiable, DOE, company car included.
