Are you able to interpret comprehensive and intricate pharmaceutical documents, whilst being able to communicate this to staff of all levels and train them in the technical concepts? Then we want to hear from you! As one of our key clients in Galway is looking to hire a Laboratory Systems Analyst who will be the point of contact for on-site Laboratory Systems issues. Your new job. You will be responsible for providing administration, implementation and maintenance of services - with a focus on LabWare LIMS, Empower CDS and Standalone Laboratory Systems used by the QC Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratories. Key duties & responsibilities: Support Administration of Site Laboratory Systems: Hardware / Software Set up and Configuration, Master Data Configuration, User Access Management, System Policies Management, Periodic Reviews. Author SOPs, system reference guides, for administrative functions of Laboratory Systems. Provide LIMS and Empower Training for end-users. Maintain compliance of Laboratory Systems with all established Corporate / Site IT and software policies and procedures. Perform review of System Audit trails / Event logs / Message Centre records and communicate findings that may impact data integrity. Report and manage all incidents related to Laboratory Systems whilst actively developing and implementing efficient Corrective and Preventative Actions. What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Computer Science. Minimum of 2 years QC Laboratory Experience in GMP/GLP regulated facility with HPLC or GC and CDS systems. Experience in using/controlling laboratory data through electronic systems within Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices industry. Proven ability to solve problems with complex variables through non-standardized solutions that require independent judgement and analysis. Ability to write scientific reports and technical correspondence. A working knowledge of LIMS and Empower CDS is required for this role - Waters Empower Administrator certification is an advantage.
