The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team in the design and delivery of highway, transport and infrastructural projects. You will support and deliver new high-profile projects. About Us. A degree, master’s or higher education in civil engineering or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years + relevant experience in road design and/or transport planning. Candidates should have a background of working within the transportation sector and demonstrate extensive experience of being part of a team in successful delivery on projects. Possess a high level of technical capability within single and multi-disciplinary projects. Excellent IT skills and competent in relevant design applications (incl. AutoCAD & Civil 3D. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to allow you to work effectively within your team and engage with clients for project delivery. Additional desirable requirements. Experience of working within a BIM environment. Road design experience in pavements, drainage, traffic control plans and highways ancillaries. Membership of a professional body such as Engineers Ireland, Institute of Civil Engineers or similar professional membership. Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer (or nearing Chartered status. Possess the ability to lead and motivate themselves, take ownership of issues and seek team participation to achieve best solutions. What we can offer.
