A HR Business Partner is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Galway based client. The HR Generalist, partners with the HR Manager and Senior Director, Human Resources to provide excellent HR support and expertise. Please contact Tom Devaney for more information. THE ROLE: * Ensure a safe working environment for all employees by prioritising Health & Safety. * Is an Employee Champion, by ensuring that the employees voice is heard and their interests are fairly represented. - Builds relationships and works well across functions -- visibility is key. * Promote a culture of wellbeing and professional employee services within the company. * Manage the delivery of specific business focused HR projects related to engagement, retention and talent management. *Take a long-term perspective and proactively identify complex organisational challenges and offer creative solutions and drive implementation. * Assist in development and implementation of HR policy and procedures. * Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant statutory legislation and industry best practice. * Provide employee relations support, and conduct processes to ensure consistent and fair procedures. * Supporting the recruitment process including liaising with Managers on People Forecasting and understanding organisational design requirements. * Partner with management in the implementation and execution of new initiatives to drive a culture of engagement, innovation and high performance in line with Company Values. * Design and delivery of Learning and Development programmes. * Data Analytics -- generate and present HR metrics to drive and support business decision making Coordinate and assist in administering the company benefit programmes. REQUIREMENTS: * Educational experience equivalent to a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field. * A minimum of 6 years of General Human Resources experience. * Knowledge of latest HR Policies, applicable legislation and best in class practices. * Experience in complex project delivery from concept through to completion. - Has a flexible can-do attitude while keeping calm and positive at all times. * Ability to meet Organisational deadlines and objectives. * Strong interpersonal skills, including a basic understanding of human behaviour. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate communication between employees and management. * Experience with HR Information Systems and MS Office Suite eg.
