HR Manager (Maternity Cover. HR Manager job available in Galway. This role is a Maternity leave contract with a major brand in the Connacht Area. Job Responsibilities. Liaise with Heads of Departments to ascertain staff development and training needs; Provide support to staff and Managers in any HR-related issues; Maintain HR database; Primary responsibility for the administration and logistics of the Recruitment and Selection. Liaise with any external consultants during Recruitment & Selection process; Draft contracts of employment; Draft seasonal contracts and independent contractor agreements; Apply for new and renewal work permits. Manage induction and exit processes; Advise staff on leave entitlements: Keep up to date on all changes in employment law and implement any necessary changes in policies and procedures in conjunction with the HR Department; Promote a positive working environment through effective Employee Engagement initiatives. Provide guidance, assistance and support to all levels of Management and other support. Point of contact for all Industrial Relations and Employee Relations; Job Requirements. Recognised degree or postgraduate diploma in a business discipline. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the role of HR / L&D Manager.
