HR Manager - Galway. HR Manager in Galway required for an EMEA position which is a high impact role with responsibility for all aspects of HR including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits across multiple locations in EMEA. You will be part of a broader HR team based both in Europe and U.S. with direct report responsibilities. Job Responsibilities. Manage all recruitment activity for open positions across several different locations in Ireland and Europe. Act in an advisory position for all employee relation and performance management issues that arise in Ireland and Europe. Administer compensation and benefits programs including merit and bonus programs, pension, health and other reward schemes across a number of sites in Ireland and Europe. Work very closely with our Finance team on all aspects of monthly payroll and support any annual processes required across Ireland and Europe. Support any training and development programs as required and work closely with our VP of Organizational Development and Learning. Work closely with cross-functional teams like Benefits, Organizational Development and Legal to deliver a high-quality and holistic candidate experience. Manage the onboarding of new hires with people management to ensure a positive experience and ramp up the learning process. Conduct the facilitation of team offsites or internal trainings which will support team development in terms of soft skills and interpersonal dynamics. Support onsite engagement activities – helping to build positive experiences for our teams and management to foster greater pride and camaraderie. Responsible for all aspects of process and policy compliance to ensure minimum risk in HR Operations. Job Requirements. Strong exposure to recruitment preferably in a technology environment and comfortable managing the recruitment process for technical roles. 5 years in a HR Generalist function for a multinational company, knowledge of UK and European HR employment legislation would be an advantage. Excellent customer focus with demonstrated ability working with Senior Management teams, remote teams and external 3rd parties. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness, ability to communicate compellingly to impact and influence decision making. An active and data driven approach to problem solving; you enjoy making sense of the trends and using the insights to better your process to make it more efficient. A growth mindset and truly flexible. You can shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change. Ability to work cooperatively and build strong relationships with peers and senior leadership locally and globally, sharing ideas and developing effective business processes in support of the company mission.
