Have you ever thought of hourly rate contracting? I'm looking for an experienced R&D Engineer to join a multinational medical device company in Galway. This position will focus on 3 major projects, both on a local and international level. Work as part of a small team on the development of new ideas and technologies. Develop products, materials, protocols and processes. Work with a global team in activities related to products. Liaise with Marketing, Operations, Quality Assurance, vendors, regulatory bodies and possibly physicians. Work collaboratively with manufacturing to reduce product costs through design improvements. Requirements: Ideally a Level 8 degree but flexbile on Level 7. At least 2 years' R&D experience within the medical device industry. Enthusiastic, driven with a passion to learn.
