ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK. CareerWise Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a manufacturing company based in Galway, to join their finance team for an initial 6-9 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a very well-established organisation and gain invaluable experience with a market leader. THE ROLE: * Invoices prior days - shipping invoices and ensures they are complete and correctly prepared to submit to customers daily. * Process customer receipts (cheques and EFT) and apply cash in debtor's ledger on a daily basis. * Prepare daily and monthly Sales reports as required. * Process and issue credit/debit notes, with the correct account coding. * Liaise with the Credit Controller on application issues. * Assist with AR month end close. * Cashbook and Bank reconciliation. * Works on special projects for the Accountant/Accounts Receivable Supervisor or Finance Manger when required. REQUIREMENTS: * At least 3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment in a similar position. * Previous experience with Oracle desirable. * Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
