JOB TITLE: Principal Engineer, Associate Engineer. REF. NO: J5083. LOCATION: Dublin, Cork & Galway. JOB TYPE: Permanent. RPS has great opportunities for Principal Engineers and Associates with openings in our offices in Dublin, Cork and Galway, Ireland. We are seeking experienced engineers to support and deliver existing and new high-profile projects. You will be central to the water services team, assisting in the delivery of projects for key public and private sector clients in Ireland and further afield. About Us. Level 8 degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. A post graduate degree would be advantageous. Relevant experience in all or one of the following - flooding and drainage, water networks or wastewater networks: Principal Engineer minimum 9 years’ experience. Associate minimum 10 years’ experience. Chartered status (or actively progressing towards Chartered status. Membership of a professional body such as Engineers Ireland or Institute of Civil Engineers. Candidates should have a background of working within the Water Services sector and demonstrate experience of successful delivery on projects. A thorough understanding of professional appointments, contractual arrangements, procurement and project management, Excellent people management skills including management of costs, time and WIP, Working knowledge of typical contract forms; Considerable experience in the preparation of contract documents for water infrastructure; Track record of leading design teams and working as part of both Employer-led and Contractor-led design teams; Team Player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), team working skills and analytical skills. Good computer skills, and. Experience in project management, contract administration, supervision and monitoring. Knowledge and experience in BIM and PMO an advantage. Possess a high level of technical capability. You will have experience in the use of civil engineering design packages. Good communication and interpersonal skills to allow you to work effectively within your team and liaise with clients. What we can offer.
