FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant on behalf of a leading agricultural business with a global presence.This is a full-time permanent role. Overview. My client serves the agricultural and equine industries with a presence in over 50 countries. Reporting to the Finance Director we are now accepting applications for the position of Financial Accountant . You will assist & manage the daily operations of the Finance department. Duties to include. Responsible for general accounting function in multi company structure. Accounts Receivable function, Accounts Payable function, journal entry preparation, all reconciliations. Reconcile monthly bank statements. Revenue returns - VAT , VIES, Intrastat. Accuracy and maintenance of the general ledger and the financial statements and reports. Assist with year-end audits, including preparation of year end audit files and preparation of quarter and year end reporting. Provide month end and year end accounting support, as required. Provide timely and accurate statutory financial information. Build and maintain excellent relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders. Ad hoc duties as required. Candidate profile Part -Qualified with experience or recently qualified. Strong knowledge of SAGE, Windows, Excel and other related software. Good interpersonal Skills. Strong analytical skills. Self-motivated. Excellent communication skills, initiative and customer focus. Ambitious and multi-tasker. Ability to work as part of a team as well as ability to work on own initiative. Salary. DOE.
