Automation Controls Engineer- 12 month contract. Controls lead assigned various projects ranging from equipment commissioning / introduction, group system improvements, equipment reliability, predictive maintenance. Escalation point for group technicians for Controls issues (PLC, PC, Motion Control, Vision Systems, robotics, etc. Co-ordinates equipment support projects in various PUs across the site. Training of group technicians on Controls technologies (PLC, PC, etc). Proven record of training skillset an advantage. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years industry experience. Excellent PLC (Allen Bradley / Rockwell ) expertise required. A foundation in programming would be advantageous. Strong working knowledge of Factory Talk View / SE. Electrical / Instrumentation troubleshooting skills would be advantageous. Strong project management skills. You must have an existing work permit / visa to apply for this contract role.
