A Material Handler is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our client based in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. This is an inital 6-Month Contract role with a view to an extension. 39 hours per week. THE ROLE: * Remove full pallets of boxes to warehouse. * Remove waste bins from Assembly and Manufacturing when full. * Provide empty plastic totes or cardboard boxes to machines. * Fill Kanbans in assembly. These will happen approx. 8 times per week. * Material Handler to bring & remove all materials from the work area. * Supply boxes, liners to each area, remove waste, plastic totes and recycling. * Removal of finished pallets, bring up empty pallets. * Assist in Loading/Emptying container. * Removal of waste, change plastic bags in all areas of the factory floor. * Empty the central rubbish trolley to outside bins. * Recycling & baling of cardboard and plastic. To be done when full. * Keep storage area & external yard clean & tidy. * All aisles should be clear of pallets. * Incoming delivery to be palletised and put away. * Regrind bags to be changed when full and load onto trailer. REQUIREMENTS: * Forklift licence, experience of appropriate software systems. * 2 years stores experience in an ERP environment.
