Business Development Executive: My client, a Galway City based data provider of market intelligence seeks to hire an experienced business development executive with a proven background in lead generation in Europe. This role will suit someone ideally with experience in data/information/SaaS sales. This is an exciting role with a European focus. You will be remunerated with a competitive base salary, attractive commission structure, renewal book to start with and a generous benefits package. Responsibilities: • To prospect via cold calling to new prospects and upsell existing clients. • This is done through a series of methods including cold calling and utilising databases of contacts. • It may also involve walking tradeshows. • To attend tradeshows to gather appropriate leads. • To work closely with the European office to manage and build an effective sales pipeline. Requirements: • A degree or equivalent, preferably in business or marketing. • Self-starter, self-motivated, and capable of seeking additional selling opportunities. • Passionate about developing customer partnerships. • Approximately three to five years of sales experience. • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritise, plan, and organize the sales activity. • An understanding of CRM systems is an advantage. • Fluency, written and spoken, in English. • Occasional travel to prospect meetings in Europe and/or tradeshows. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. Compensation will comprise a base salary plus commission. As the client base is built, the commission on retained accounts makes it possible to generate very high commission levels.
