Finance Manager – Galway. Galway City based, financial services business seeks to hire a fully qualified Finance Manager. You will have business partnering and people management experience, along with excellent accounts preparation and financial reporting skills. This is a permanent job with a growing pan-European business. Job Responsibilities. Ensure monthly management accounts reporting deadlines are met. Oversee year-end statutory accounts reporting and audit process. Ensure tax filings are kept up to date. Oversee monthly client billing and MI reporting. Continuous review of payments process and reconciliations. Implementation of financial and operational procedures and controls. Manage and support existing finance team members. Take the lead on new client migration project currently in progress. Prepare detailed annual budget for review and monitor achievement levels. Support collections team in reviewing & pricing new portfolios for sale. Provide finance business partner support to other sections of the business. Promptly respond to finance requests from Group Finance. Other ad hoc duties as requested by the Head of Finance. Job Requirements. Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA. Strong accounts preparation and financial reporting experience. First-rate Excel and analytical skills. People management experience. Commercially astute with a strategic outlook. Finance business partner experience. Highly motivated with ability to take ownership of the role. Excellent time management/task prioritisation skills. Comfortable in a leadership role. Good team player. Strong communication and presentation skills. Previous industry experience an advantage.
