Machine Learning Engineer, Galway. FRS Recruitment are actively sourcing and screening for an urgent Machine Learning Engineer role with a leading tech employer with a global presence! This is a 6 month contract with an immediate start! Essential experience is as follows: * BS or MSc degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years relevant industry experience. * Experience being an ML specialist supporting pytorch development. * Detail orientation with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Self-motivated and focused. * Comfortable collaborating with geographically dispersed teams. * Excellent written and spoken communication skills. * Conversant in machine learning fundamentals. * Take pride in finding ways to do things better, faster and correct. A focus on automation. Nice to have: * Experience with open core, state monitoring software like Puppet on Ruby. * Exposure to basic scripting of runtime languages like Node.js. * Exposer to AWS S3 and AZURE Blob cloud storage. * Storage and retrieval of unstructured data and supporting metadata. * Hands on experience supporting the Apache open source stack (Hadoop, HDFS, HIVE, SPARK, Flume …) This Machine Learning Engineer role is an exciting new opportunity with our global client.
