Senior Packaging Engineer. Galway - Permanent. My client a Galway based medical device company is looking for a Senior Packaging Engineer to join their team. My client is an award winning, very well-established company that is doing business in over 100 countries across the globe. It is a great time to join this company they are in expansion mode. Positions with this company do not come up very often!! You will be responsible for managing several packaging projects - including the design development & validation of a wide range of package designs to support the development of my client's products. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the product package design, Labels, and other packaging specs. Generating prototype models for new concepts. Testing and analysing of the new and existing products. Responsible for design assurance documentation. Be in constant contact with suppliers regarding specifications. Key Requirements: 4 years experience in medical device or highly regulated environment. Level 8, bachelors degree in related discipline. Experience in conducting feasibility studies to estimate product cost as well as analyse capital equipment and validation process.
