Description

Main Duties: Manage the Purchasing Team. Purchase all raw materials from approved suppliers. Confirm all raw material availability dates for all Sales orders. Manage Raw Material Purchasing Spend. Daily follow up with suppliers. Daily monitoring of inventory to prevent stockouts. Participate in continuous improvement of Materials processes. Ongoing appraisal of current material sources. Evaluate Suppliers, and maintain the Approved Vendor List. Maintain records of all purchase orders. Requirements. Relevant Degree in Business/Supply Chain and/or APICS. 5+ years experience in Purchasing role in Manufacturing. Preferred experience in Medical Device. People Management experience. Knowledge of MRP.
