Homeware Buyer / Manager with strong experience in homeware specifically cookware and electricals. Galway city. The ideal candidate must have commercial experience and drive, who can grow sales and interpret trends. It is essential that interested candidates are already operating at Buyer/Manager level, have extensive development and sourcing knowledge and are from a Homewares background. Responsibilities: Sourcing and Buying of Homeware product divisions including cookware and electricals. Management of the Cookshop Department including its day to day operations. Merchandising of the department including in-store displays. Be involved in stock control and management. Providing exceptional sales service to the customer. Requirements: 3+ years’ experience in buying, product sourcing and management. Excellent product knowledge of Homewares including cookware and electricals. Have a proven track record in achieving sales targets. Have strong commercial awareness within the retail sector.
