Senior Buyer - Medtech. Work with one of the world’s leading medical device companies who have a large presence in Ireland, especially Galway. Support the development of life saving medical technology. Act as a figure of authority and provide leadership for the supply chain function. You will be dealing with Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Engineering and the Warehouse on-site (internal stakeholders. Responsibilities: Manage material supply for manufacturing with the aim of meeting and surpassing Corporate and Plant objectives. Provide detailed analysis for internal stakeholders on material availability. Manage your team, supporting them and driving continuous improvement. Establish set KPIs for service, cost and inventory performance. Complete high-level analysis of critical supply chain events, using data to influence senior leadership team. Drive Sales Inventory and Operations Planning for the site to support service and cost performance. Utilise MRP and Demand Planning Systems to drive stronger long term capacity and supply plans. Support annual budget development for finished goods and raw materials. Lead analysis of waste and cost. Requirements: Level 8 degree in business or supply chains with 5 years or more experience within supply chain in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Knowledge of end to end supply chain.
